Overview

The Post-Retirement Medical Scheme (PRMS) is a scheme of contributory participation to realise benefits of medical cover after retirement.  The medical benefits will be accessible by the member for treatment of themselves, spouse or dependent children.  The PRMS ensures that you do not have to worry about a medical bills after retirement from the service. 

Elligibility 

PRMS is open to active permanent and pensionable staff of Maseno University and Tom Mboya University of the Scheme looking to save for medical benefits in retirement as well.

Contributions

An interested member is required to fill a PRMS form and authorize deduction of monthly additional contributions at the payroll. The contribution amount is flexible as per member's wish. However, it is important to note that the accumulated PRMS amount will determine the amount of cover available after retirement.
